Postgraduate studies

Hello everybody, today I am going to talk about a postgraduate course that I'd like to do.

 To be honest, I haven't thought much about postgraduate degrees. In this moment, I just want to finish my carrer, but if I had the chance of taking a master degree, I think I prefer to do this in another country, maybe in Europe. Recently, I was talking with a cousin, and he tell me about "Becas Chile", a state program to study in another country, but with the condition of returning to Chile to work some years. When I hear about this, I thought it was a good idea.

There are many areas in which I would like to specialize, but I think that I would like to do a master relationated with economic politics and social stratification. I think I would like to work and study at the same time, so I would like to study at night and work in the day, because I don't want to become the eternal student either.

In the case that can the magister do in Chile, hopefully in a different university, because I am a little bored of the University of Chile hahaha. Studying in Chile would be comfortable both for the money and because it allows me to be close to my family.

 

My future job

Hello people, today I'am going to talk about a job that I would like to have in the future.

I think a job that I would like to have in the in future, maybe like an researcher in a center of social studies or in the municipality, at least this are the jobs that I would like to work according to my carrer of sociology.

If in this jobs would be outdoors, I would like it, because I really enjoy outdoors. But if this jobs would be indoors, like in a officce, I would not dislike. Also, if in this jobs I can travel to another places, I would love to, in fact, it would be great to travel to several places and get paid for that. The salary is important to me. I don't pretend to be a millionaire, but I would like help to pay the education of my nephews, to travel with them, and that they may have better opportunities than I had with my brothers. However, obviously I know it's very important work in something that I can enjoy.

But recently, I was talking with a friend that my dream job would be a NBA statistic, because I would love to job in something related with basketball. 

My favourite singer

Hello everybody! Today I´m going to talk about my favourite singer.

My favourite singer and guitarist is John Frusciante. I really enjoy his music since I had 15. I know him because my best friend of school listed all day Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I started to listen a lot of songs of RCHP, but what I really enjoyed to listen was the guitarist, and the guitarist was John Frusciante. 

I started to reading about him, and his life really interest me. An spectacular guitarrist since he had 8 years old, and to the 17, he drive to the Los Angeles, because he thought in this city he could be a better artist. In this city he joined to the RHCP and play music with the band until he was expulsed because his adicction to the drugs. After this, he rehabilited, he left the drugs and he become an asceticist for 2 years. In this years he recorded a lot of songs, songs that I really enjoy because I can feel his emotions through the music. 

I think my fauvorite album of him is Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt, albúm that he recorded under the effects of the heroin, and that he dedicated to the daughter of Flea, the bass guitarist of the RHCP. 

I never seen him in a concert. One time I go to a concert of RHCP, but the guitarist of the band in his moment was Josh Klinghoffer and not John. 

Pets

Hi everyone! Today am going to talk about pets.

Since I was born that I have pets. In fact, the same day I was born, my godfather rescue a puppy from the street and his name was Pillin. Pillin was my first pet and I love him. After him, Tuyo arrive, my second dog. They both fought a lot for jealousy. After the two of them, Manu and Tatan arrived. I had four dogs at the same time. Obviously, I consider dogs to be the best pet, because they are loyal. I don´t like cats very much as pets, although I had four cats too. Today, I only have Tatan, because the rest of my dogs died.

I also had a frog and a duck in my house, but they were very short time. The frog it was only one week and they stole it. The duck was three monts, but we gave it away because it was very difficult to take care of a duck

The best concert I've ever been to

Hi everyone, today I'm going to write about the best concert I've ever been to. 

The concert I´m going to talk about, happened in 2016. I went to see SOJA at the Teatro Cariola in Santiago Downtown. I was 18 years old and I went with my older brother. It lasted two hours, two hours of good and relaxing reggae music. I really enjoyed being there with my brother, because SOJA is a group that we really liked. Soldiers of Jah Army (SOJA) is a group of the United States, and they play reggae and rock music.

This moment is a very special memorie, because my brother passed away this year. It makes me smile when I remember this good moment with him. When we arrived to the concert, we meet an old friend with his girlfriend in a very unexpected way. After the concert, we went to sit on a bench, to have a drink and talk about the life in a very beatiful night. In the end we hugged each other and went to his house.

A country I'd like to visit

Hi! In this opportunity, am going to tell about a country I'd like to visit.

I'd love to go to USA because is the country of basketball. I think would be amazing to know the courts where so many famous players took his first shoots, and for this, one special place is Brooklyn, because this is a poor city with a very interesting story. In this city, the basketball is very strong because is a popular game, and is a space to enjoy in spite of his difficult realities.

Another some places to USA I would like to be American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida; and Las Vegas in Nevada. These places are famous because his extravagance and spectaculars shows.

I think I would study in USA, because the universities are really good according to the rankings, but I wouldn't work or live there, at least in this moment, because I have other priorities in my country.

I really hope to visit USA someday!

Your Blogging Experience

My experience was comfortable in general, I learn a few new words and now I feel a little more confident at the time of write in english. I feel my writing skills developed a little with this exercise of writing a blog every week. However I think I would be more excited with a oral part in this blogs, because is this part of learn English that more difficult to me. I think another thing that I would like to write is something relationed with an specific hobby like my fauvorite movie. Maybe write in a blog an opinion associated with a contemporary issue like the environment and global warming or the conflict of the Araucania in Chile. Maybe this help as like invetigators of social science a write in another language with the objective of publish a papers or even a blogs direct to people of another countries. Another option that would be a good option to learn, is write an essay instead of so many blogs. An essay relationed with our degree, our university studies or maybe a simple test of an investigation of Social Science.
